Because they are not who they want us to believe they are.

How many times must this be said before it sinks in.  Some folks that post here think they've found a clever way to sabotage the program.  And a lot of folks on here just add fuel to the fire.

Fair enough, but I have serious doubts that Bubba is the person to take our program any further.

It took Stig a long time to turn SDSU around, so I guess you never know.  But I don't see a lot of similarities between Stig and Bubba, and the same could probably be said about the differences between some of their assistants and ours.

You read my post correct. @Sioux95 is just digging for something that isn’t there.

Back to the actual conversation, I’m glad to hear Bo is back. I hope we can use him more efficiently with a different QB and different offensive gameplan. We’re going to need him to step up even more next season!

I'm not saying all bison fans are slow witted.  I know plenty who aren't.  But as far as drawing from the low IQ fan base, the bison have had that market cornered since at least the late 80s.

Having another dimension of a running QB is what this offense is missing. Good luck stopping Danny with a mobile QB. Depth is also something we need because injuries will happen. Pocket QB’s are a thing of the past

Sometimes I think the only one that can stop Danny is Danny.

Not going to lie. Didn't read a word of that novel.

Like GoodGood said, I am absolutely in favor of kids having the ability to be paid what they are worth and make decisions that are best for them.

So your purpose on this forum is to post !@#$ and run.  If you're not posting to be part of a conversation, please stop wasting our time.

Meaning half the posters here will still complain about the starting QB

It won't be half... Just the same ones that complain about everything... They've proven to be versatile and adapt well to new opportunities.

This room could be deep but the talent level doesn’t come close to the 2013 room. RJ McGill, Kenny Golladay, Jameer Jackson and Greg Hardin.

Add Blair Townsend to that as well.  I think they had 650 yards receiving against Montana

I also hope forum tech evolves so that when use the ignore feature it also ignore the responses.  Two clowns make this board repulsive, but what else would people discuss.

It's pretty obvious that a few posters have taken the angle of pretending to be UND fans so that there posts to undermine the team are taken more seriously.  If everyone ignored these posts we wouldn't need to worry about getting a feature to ignore responses to moronic posters

The late 80s in Walsh were epic. Stuff that Netflix documentaries are made of.

I lived there from. 88-90.  No better place to be on the whole campus.  RAs just assumed you were carrying beer in your bags and didn't care.

23% from the field. Keep walking the ball up and running the same crap half court offense. Unbelievable

I didn't realize we were running an offense.  Just looked like we pass the ball around until someone decides to go 1 v 1.  This is a poorly coached team.  Can we get rid of both sather and chaves ASAP.

The ignore feature is a good tool to avoid tools.

Pretty sure I would have stopped visiting all of the football threads if I didn't have the ability to ignore the three stooges.  Wish everyone else would do the same.  You won't regret it.

This whole first round deal benefited one team the most....NDSU! Just look at that bracket and tell me I'm wrong?

Looks like NDSU won't play a legitimate opponent untill Frisco.

Anybody who was on playoff selection committee should be immediately removed. Start over.

It's never good to be the person behind a rule, or policy change that prevents screwing over other people. Good job NDSU AD. HE, AS THE MISSOURI VALLEY REP, HAD MORE ABILITY THAN ANYONE TO KEEP UND FROM GETTING SCREWED OVER. I ASSUME HE WAS IN FACT THE LEADING DRIVER OF UND GETTING THE SHAFT.

We were told we would never be competitive in the MVFC, third season and we are #3. It is BS to say the conference is down this year. If you really follow the team you get to know some of the parent's of the players and you hear how much they support Bubba and the staff and how much their son is enjoying his time at UND. Of course there are exceptions but the overall vibe you get from the parent's is positive. Most would never come to this site and I'm quite certain they would be perplexed of the negativity they would read (from a minority thankfully).

For what it's worth, we were much more successful in our first 3 years in the Missouri valley than NDSU was. I'm not sure about South Dakota state,  but I would assume the same. I know that's not an apples to apples comparison because we had our stint in the big sky, but still something that stands out as better than a lot of people expected.

Rankings clearly show MVFC as the best conference FCS this year.  Three teams, CAA - rankings near the WAC.  Five teams.  What was the conference rep doing?

Any potential that the MVFC can remove NDSUs AD from the position on the FCS selection committee?  I think it's a multiple year assignment and not looking forward to more of this.

FCS playoff committee chair Jermaine Truax explains why Montana Grizzlies made the field

    https://406mtsports.com/college/big-sky-conference/university-of-montana/fcs-playoff-committee-chair-jermaine-truax-explains-why-montana-grizzlies-made-the-field/article_648e48aa-69ee-11ed-a05a-5b8c74acc4e0.html

So let me get this straight.  Here are the reasons Montana made it into the playoff field:

    - "Quality loses" against the best teams in the Big Sky

    -  Loses were when their QB was out, so....MAYBE they would have won

    -  "Success" against MVFC teams (even though those teams finished 9th and 10th in the conference standings"

    -  "Success" against a Southland team that finished the season 4-7

    - "Student athlete experience"

    -  The finanacial bid wasn't a factor.

The selection committee has opened the door for backroom politics a little wider this year.  What are the odds there was no coercion between the NDSU and Montana ADs?  NDSU gets bumped up a seed and their rival gets screwed out of a home game.  Montana gets in without a quality win and gets a home game and their rival gets screwed.
