Sack up... it's playoff time.... this team is already one of the best conditioned in the country because of their injuries. If Taylor Dickin is the reason this team can't win games, we were already in trouble. Our top two lines (and mix in the third) are very good lines. Our defense is on par with anyone in the country. Granted, like I said before, this doesn't help having Dickin out, but it should not make or break this team.
The problem with this is, if Dickin is out who doesn't get the rest when he is in?
With Dickin out it will hurt the Sioux!
I hope he is back next weekend!!!!!!

Doc is not only the greatest announcer, but he gives college hockey teams big credit during games talking about the former college this pro went to.....
Good stuff, same with is staff, all good for college hockey!

Only thing that would make the UND/DU game on NBC Sports in HD better would be if Doc Emrick was calling the game!!! I don't think he is, but that would be awesome!!

Anyone watch the NHL game Wed night on NBCsports? The commercial for college hockey Friday was pretty cool! Says North Dakota taking conference rival Denver, shows the Sioux dropping Gopher players with huge checks, and Denver with scoring videos against the Gophers! I thought that was fun to watch, hehehe!

The fifth point you made is something that needs to be addressed. It's a shame that a 10,000+ arena with the following the Sioux have can't find ways to stay in the game. It's easy to be a great crowd when things are going good on the ice, but on Saturday you could hear most of the players' chatter on the ice from my TV perspective, and every crowd shot during the game showed what appeared to be uninterested fans. Those who are able to attend the games need to help out on their end a bit to give the team a little more home-ice advantage.

Don't know how you can tell people of 12,000 to be more into a game on a blog? Don't you think this is the REA's problem and they should find a solution? First off "clap clap, clap your hands" is what, four years old and stupid IMO. than I'm a huge GNR fan but welcome to the jungle is now used there for over five years! How about mixing it up? Anyone been to a Wild game? The snippet from Predator when Arney screams holding the torch, my spine tingles and I'm going nuts with everyone else! How about a new song "stand up and shout"? Also used at the xcel! I'm a season ticket holder and I see it happening, but what can I do about it? It starts with the students and they get jacked from the Jumbo tron! Just watch pregame when the Sioux smash a couple gopher players the students go nuts and the rest follow! Simple fix if you ask me and proof right there it works! But complaining on a blog that us ticket holders are too quiet is silly!

I wonder how many Sioux fans would care or even know who the school is after the Sioux are no morwe. You think the attendence at football games are low now; just wait until fans stop showing for hockey games. Don't think it will happon. Lets wait and see for future playoffs and national tornaments who shows up.

We take a cab to the xcel, than just mill around.
Two years ago we parked in a little lot up a hill from the X. Not sure which direction it was. But we don't drive anymore once we check into the motel Thursday at noon.

Does anyone here do the tailgating?
I never set up for it, but two years ago we tailgated with some Gopher fans that we meet on the Thursday game. Some of them were always snippy but the ones we talked a lot with gave us some dogs and a couple beers, was fun!
Last year we got stopped by some dog fans and they insisted us to eat some burgers and drink some beer, all with our Sioux jerseys on ! It's really a fun weekend partying with the enemy (the cool ones), but avoiding the stupid fans from all teams! Including some Sioux fans that I seen and made me embarrassed to witness their actions!

Nice, where is this place? I always go to Wild Tymes or the bar in the X! Obviously I have been going to the wrong places, lol! What else are the hot spots, just in between and before games? After games we hang out by the hotel in 3m area...
