Gophers are usually an average team. They just need to be more consistent! This years team I believe will have a bit of a down year. Losing those 2 running backs will hurt, but they still have a decent O line. I definatly do not expect NDSU to win that one. In all reality, it could get ugly
Well, considering how the Big 10 is far and away the most competitive conference top to bottom in all of college football... any team that goes 15-17 within the Big 10 over a span of four years will destroy NDSU. Even a team that goes 10-22 within the Big 10 would destroy NDSU.
Wow. The conference is competitive, but only the top 2-3 would be competitive in any of the top conferences in the country
The Gophers "great" teams are 7th or 8th in the Big 10, which is a mediocre by comparison conference(SEC, ACC, Big 12, Pac 10) and this year they are down a notch.... The Bison will keep it respectable(38-21 or 38-24)

That was also my favorite goal of the year. The reason he was able to get the pass and score was because of the hit he put on Scott which not only knocked the bejezus out of him, but also prevented him from being able to clear the puck. Sweet Goal!!

Pretty sure he is selling either medical products or pharmacueticals and living in Fargo. Have seen him and Katie out at BWW a few times during the NHL playoffs watching the Devils.

On a side note yesterday Nate Miller on P.A. and Dubay refered to Mike Commodore as a side show. Yep, the same Nate Miller from the Movie Miracle. The same Miller that never made the NHL. I suppose he didn't mean anything hateful by it but, Commodore is one of Carolina's Top Defenseman.

Nate's sophmore season for tumtc he had 8 goals and 6 assists, his junior year he had 6 goals and 8 assists.
Commie had 5 goals and 8 assists his sophmore season and as a junior he had 5 goals and 7 assists while playing defense!!!
Not only could Commie kick his sorry talentless ass, but he is the more "skilled" player of the 2.

Not to pat myself on the back....but I had an inkling that Edmonton would continue their late season run with Rolie...wasn't sure that they would win against Detroit, but thought enough to take a shot on the money line(on Bodog). Remember Detroit was good, but their record as good as it was, was a little distorted 25-3-4 in their weak division.

Earl is a political lightweight who will come around on this issue once it is explained to him.. He usually thinks what Gaylord and Byron think and if they are split, he flips a coin. He was probably caught off guard and Byron and Gaylord had not had a chance to weigh the political consequences of having an opinion on this and thus, Earl was hung out to dry so he relied on a very likely liberal member of his staff to put out a statement which will eventually be restated and an announcement of how he was misquoted will follow shortly thereafter.

I have it from a very reliable source that Glas will join Ben Jacobson at UNI as an assistant coach next season. I cannot say who the sopurce is, but I trust it to be reliable. Buning's job just got real interesting and his decision will be very telling as to the direction that UND basketball and UND athletics plans to go!!!!

I have been ralaxing by hanging out in Florida with my brother(aka Floridasioux). Took in a couple spring training games, Twins/Orioles(We offered Liriano a ride, but he refused, jk), and Red Sox/Reds(as seen on Espn). Couple rounds of golf(Raptor Bay tomorrow!!!!!) and got my hockey fix tonight watching the Florida Everblades play the Pensacola Ice Pilots!! Everblades won 6-2, Steve Saviano(UNH) had 4 goals. Saw several ex college players including ex wcha players Luke Fulghum(DU), Dallas Steward(UAA), recently signed Rob Rankin from Mankato, Brendan cook from Bemidji and former Ice Shark, Former Green Waver and former mankato maverick nate Metcalf.

I think this is debateable? Probably depends on where you play? I am going to watch the Florida Everblades play an echl game on Friday. Have been their before a couple times for a game and lets just say the talent pool in the bar at the arena after the games is pretty impressive!

How is that laid out really well? You all wanna talk about Gopher fans arrogance and I say the Sioux are playing great and I get immature responses like this? I like how you left out the 6-1 win the Gophers posted the same weekend. And that the win the Sioux had they got an empty net. What's that all worth? Nothing, all I said was the Gophers will be the most talented team in the nation next year with all their guys returning. I don't see how that can be argued with the group of guys they have. If you want to look at stats of teams one team beat and the other team lost to just look at the regular season records, but where does that get us? Nowhere.

That looks about right to me!
I hope UNI keeps winning games this year and is a legit playoff team in 1aa. I remember when the Bison beat Montana at Montana and they were ranked pretty high(based on previous season) and it was a very impressive effort by NDSU to come back in the 2nd half like they did, but as the season went on, the win lost a little luster as Montana proved to have one of their weaker teams in the last 10-15 years that season.
