Minnesota's top NIL earner last year was Dawson Garcia at 65K... you're telling me that they offered Morgan 35K more than him?
I just don't think Andrew Morgan is worth 200K... wow
This past season? Dawson was at way more than 65K, he was at 300K. Despite never even entering the portal Garcia had a 700K offer from Gonzaga a couple weeks ago but opted to stay at Minnesota for a couple hundred thousand less.

I'm guessing that 7 was a typo and was meant to be a 6 because there is absolutely no chance Morgan is getting even remotely close to that amount from Nebraska.
Morgan got 200K from Nebraska, Minnesota offered 100 for him.

As of now I'd go
Swanson-Berg-Perron
James-Boisvert-McLaughlin
Kunz-Wilkie-Strinden
Schmaltz-Jamernik-Croal
Livanavage-Zmolek
Wiebe-Emery
Strathmann-MacDonald
Jubenvil
Hedquist

BJ is visiting or has visited Oregon St and Cal.
I would be surprised if Minnesota is an option, but I could be wrong.
Minnesota has not shown any interest at this point and I don't think they will. Have heard BJ's agent initial NIL ask turned some SEC schools off completely.

Disappointing crash to a season that showed so much promise at times.
Too many missed opportunities in the 1st. Leaving that period at only 1-0 was trouble. Too many turnovers in the 2nd half of the game just got extremely careless. Michigan definitely got some puck luck but back breaker was Persson giving up the 2nd, just cover the damn puck. Not enough urgency and getting pucks to the net, content to play on the perimeter.
Brady Berry clock is ticking. 1 ncaa win since the national championship and 3 missed tourneys when we hadn’t missed one in forever. Some say parity and I’ll never agree with that, watch the spittin chiclets video and try to sell someone on parity how many other places are even in the same ballpark with those amenities maybe a couple. Frozen Fours should be the expectation around here.

Goaltending certainly could have been better
Have to do a better job of getting a cycle established
Need to play with more of an edge going forward

Solid weekend of hockey. Thought the guys played with a different sense of urgency which is what you need to see this time of year. Really liked what Hedquist showed and it really is just more of what we have seen from him all year.

Schultz is gone. I would assume Simpson is too but I recently heard there was some sort of dust up with TC. I believe he’s back now so maybe they worked it all out.
Listening to YHH podcast they had Schultz as a sure thing gone and Simpson pretty likely back as well as most if not all of the Shakopee kids.

No way Vikings were coming close to what Cousins got today and I think that is the right move. Not sure where they turn at QB. I'd try to trade for Fields but guessing Chicago won't want to move him in division. Been some talk about Darnold, Brissett, and Tannenhill. Tough thing with moving up in the draft is it certainly looks like those top 3 will all go QB and personally I'm not confident enough in McCarthy to move up for him.
Really, really like the signings the Vikes made defensively today. Cashman and Van Ginkel seem like perfect guys for Flores scheme. Aaron Jones and Devondre Campbell are a couple other guys out there I would like to see end up in Purple.

Hermantown moving up would make 7AA just unreal. East, Andover, Grand Rapids....
Warroad and East Grand would have a punchers chance in 8AA.
I think those teams could make the adjustment to AA in the youth level pretty easily and hang with the big boys.
We are all Thunderhawks tonight.
EGF and Hermantown both play AA at the youth level I believe.

The Lund dman out of Warroad. I’ve tracked him for a while and he always put up very good stats for a dman. He’s also listed at 6’3”. Im assuming he has D1 offers but I never hear anyone talk about him. There’s obviously a difference between stats and the “eye test”. Either he’s sitting on offers quietly or it’s a factor of him being huge, playing a ton (in Warroad), and the fact it’s HS hockey (especially single A hockey).
I've wondered why he isn't committed somewhere every time I've watched him the last 2 seasons. Seems like an ideal package of what you want in a defenseman good size, offensive skill, skates well, heavy shot, and can bring physical element. Always been very impressed with him. Would bet a lot of people will be talking about him these next few days after seeing him in the tournament again.

Yep definitely forgot about this with the busy sports day. Likely woulda went Johannes or Gaber with the Senior night special so wouldn’t have mattered.

Solid weekend of hockey. Team can win in different ways and showed it this weekend.

Solid weekend of hockey. Wasn't always the cleanest and definitely some lulls but overall a nice bounceback from last weekend.

Biggest concern going forward for me is goaltending and d zone coverage. Way too many shots that should be handled and swallowed up easy are resulting in rebounds, 2nd opportunities, and more zone time.

It is one game but you need to make sure that is all it is. Don't let any of the bad habits, effort, plays, etc. grow into a trend. Own the performance and the ugly effort tonight and tomorrow is a new day where you show what kind of toughness you have by responding.

Definitely not the crispest weekend of hockey from the guys this season but overall got outta Miami with almost exactly what was expected. Get some guys healed up and get ready for the stretch run.

Really solid weekend of hockey.
Seeing a lot of growth in guys. Kunz and Ness are two that have stepped up and grown their game a lot from the beginning of the season, Jamernik and Strinden are another couple.

One of the more complete performances we’ve seen from this team
Really solid job coverage wise defensively one of the slip ups results in a goal though although Ludvig surely wants both of them back tonight
James/McLaughlin/Blake get better every time out
D need to clean up some bad giveaways to nowher, too many weak pass/clear attempts that didn’t hurt tonight but were scary. Go get the sweep tomorrow!

Solid productive weekend
if we can get our top line playing consistently like this weekend going forward we are in a really good spot
Blake scores if Basse doesn’t trip him with his glove, should get another attempt for that.

Dominant at times especially in the 1st and 2nd trapping st.clown in their zone for minutes at a time
James-OMac-Blake combo was really good tonightBerg might’ve had the best all around game
Felt like we shoulda had 4-5 goals in the 1st Basse was very good and we just missed wide on great looks
Ludvig was very good and made some huge saves. Way too many big rebounds on shots that you’d like to see him swallow clean
Way too passive in the dzone the last 8-10 minutes, pressure the guy and make him make a play instead of sitting back
Have to cut down on the panic plays. Ton of just throwing pucks blindly without really any pressure. I think for the most part those plays didn’t directly result in any Scsu goals tonight but just take a breath and make a productive play

So many bad gaps, turnovers, and just DZ breakdowns. Ludvig wasn’t real sharp either. This team has to lock in here and start taking care of business against bad times. Things aren’t trending well right now.

One of the biggest things I was looking at and it is something I don't think Berry looks at enough is trying to put guys together that play with the same pace/skating ability. Trying to get speed guys together and really push the pace.
