  1. The guy that I watched and waited to see get involved was Billy Riviere.  He was rated as #13 prospect in MN as a senior by one place.

In 2 seasons at UND he never caught a pass.  I have no idea if we ever threw to him or not.

This fall at Washington State he had 12 catches for 117 yards and a TD.  It's hard to imagine that we didn't find a way to get him involved in the passing game at UND.

Could be LB or DE. Great athlete, tough kid. He should be on the field. I think they should include TE’s in passing tree more often.

As a kid in the 70’s I remember UND running a TE reverse from time to time that was very effective.

I say bring back the TE reverse.

This one could be interesting to see how he develops.  Sounds like he has only played football since 2020.  Very good size, also plays basketball so he hopefully has good feet.  Hopefully Pawluk can coach him up into an All Conference type of guy.

I think he walked with the recruits a couple times thru tailgating.  Definitely a big body guy.

Except that is was the correct call.  The announcers should pay more attention.

Even that noted Bison hater Phil Hanson said it was a bad call. Said definitely a fumble.  Could maybe debate the recovery.

NDSU has won a helluva a lot of regular-season games on the road to earn those home playoff games. That's the way it works...win in September, October and November and you'll be at home in December. If you don't like seeing them at home in the playoffs all you have to do is beat them.

I dislike NDSU as much as anybody but it's hard to argue with this.  They've earned their home playoff games.

I don't think they should have jumped over Montana St in last rankings but I think it was done to avoid conference matchups in the semifinals if results went per seedings.

How does one get seven years? Covid, sure. Extra year due to injury?

I don't know.  He played 3 years at Nichols St which was his 4th school and was still eligible to transfer and play one more year at UIW.

  7. Back to the transfer discussion.

I’m not sure if it’s been discussed on here but Incarnate Word qb Lindsey Scott Jr is in his 7th year and on his  5th team.  LSU, East Miss CC, Missouri, Nichols St and now Incarnate Word.  That’s insane

This is all a steaming pile of crap.

I DM'd Tom Miller earlier today though Twitter to see if any chance Matt Larsen will talk to him and give his take on what went on with UND going on the road.   Haven't heard back from him.

It was a late hit while the qb was sliding/ giving himself up. The game was over. Not good.

not surprising.  Against us they had 1 targeting penalty and 3 (maybe 4) unsportsmanlike penalties.  Also reviewed for another targeting but fortunately the defender missed our guys head when he tried to hit him with an elbow.

    Ditto.

Honestly, I think this is the view of our fanbase, especially actual alumni, overwhelmingly. It feels like that God awful FB group has made the "Sioux Forever" group louder than ever, but I do believe if it came down to it, people would state their allegiance towards the school, not the name. I know that's the case for my friends and colleagues, at least.

Agree.  Many of us cheer for UND and all of their teams.  For one thing, a major junior team would only cover one of the sports the Univ offers.

You think the NCAA gives two shits about some small school that took them to court and lost?

professional conduct is out the window with you guys, do you not see that yet?

I think Matt Larson is going to do what’s best for ndsu and ndsu alone, I would hope that you guys feel the same way about chaves, but judging by most posters on here you would rather set him adrift in a leaky boat with no oars in the middle of the Bering sea.

Larson is on that committee as the MVFC representative and he has an ethical obligation to represent the conference - not 'NDSU and NDSU alone'.  If he can't do that he should resign from the committee.
