Props to the Montana State AD that’s how FBS paydays are done.

It’s only a secondary and it’s not that bad.

All the more reason they should be committing to the school and not a specific coach.
More and more, people follow leaders, rather than schools, companies, brands, etc. And it will continue to trend that way.

Their coach also hit the portal
Guessing most if not all of his starters will follow him to SLU.

Don't be shocked if former Jacks coach TJ Otzelberger ends up at Kentucky.

The NAIA did more to protect the integrity of women's athletics in one day than the NCAA has in decades.

The "reality of the game" hasn't stopped Denver from going to 4 Frozen Fours since 2016 and winning two titles with the chance to win a third next week. Meanwhile, our favorite team has one NCAA tournament win during that entire time (vs. an Alphabet Soup school from the AHA). Those are clear trends over 7 seasons (not counting the 2020 Pandemic shortened season). That is "just the way things are" and it cannot be explained away by the usual alibis posted here constantly.
The problem with this team isn't lack of physical talent (you don't win 26 games without talent). The problem is from the neck up, the lack of mental focus after clinching the Penrose at home. That is the biggest task facing this coaching staff for next year. And whether it's fair or not, lack of national success will negatively affect recruiting if it continues.
Maybe trade in a zero-gravity bed and a red light bed for a sports psychologist?

Every 8 season's, the Engelstad arena red-light therapy beds, cryochamber, steam room, nap room, private chef making three meals a day, etc, produce 1 playoff win against the American International’s of the college hockey world.
Seems worth it.
Pretty much nailed it. The building and the amenities inside have eclipsed any accomplishments on the scoreboard. And yet nothing will change until attendance dwindles and interest wains. But why would attendance ever dwindle? The game night experience is second to none! It’s a weird conundrum.

P-cups are great. Got enough of them in Grand Forks to open a Medtox branch. But the results don’t align with the resources at their disposal.

Sorry, parity is real. 6 of 8 games decided by 1 goal. 6 of 8 games that could have gone either way. 3 of 8 games ended in OT.
The NCHC plays tough hockey, but 3 of 4 NCHC teams in the tournament are already headed home. Denver is the only quarterfinals survivor, and Massachusetts played Denver even.Parity is real.
B1G Hockey > NCHC. That’s where we’re at point in time.

David Carle really wants to move the regional games to campus sites. I'm guessing if DU loses today as a #1 seed playing a de facto road game across the country, Carle will be on fire regarding this issue.
Go UMass.
As he should be. It's asinine. The host schools wield too much influence over the brackets.

Blame the guy that donated $$$$$ to Penn State to start hockey.
That is what ultimately caused this.
Barry Alvarez was very aggressive in pursuing the formation of the B1G hockey conference, that's how I remember it.
