MN hockey players on the MN roster represent 3.875 X 10-6 % of the population and ND hockey players on the UND roster represent 4.149 X 10-6 % of the population. Therefore UND has a higher percentage of its state population on the roster than MN has on its roster.

Sorry but they were 19th. Its a fact. That chart above is not accurate. Google is your friend, learn how to use it correctly and you'll see they were 19th. In fact one of your UND buddies already posted they were 19th. Unbelievable.

I would love to go but I'm starting a new job tomorrow. I'm sure other folks have their own valid reasons to not fill Al's bus. No reason to start bashing the fan base.

Perhaps the best part of the tournament was when the "Let's Go Sioux" chant broke out in a tense championship game after Wisconsin finished off Ohio State in OT. By then, of course, many of the ND fans who came for hockey had long left even though there was hockey still being played. That is your choice, of course, but I was long taught and always remember to be in the seat for the Anthem and stay until the final horn. One misses too many interesting things on and off the ice otherwise.

Immefiately after Wisco won, the Sioux fans at the Target Center erupted into cheers! Everyone one else was looking around asking, 'What did we miss?'

Wasn't there an article or post about a season ticket holder who hasn't missed a home game in a really long time......he lives in Texas? I don't think 'Sioux fans travel well' means they travel from GF. I believe it means they travel from where ever to where ever the team plays. In the past 7 years, I've traveled from 8 different states to go watch the Sioux play.
*BTW, they haven't caught me yet.
