  1. Analytics says that 'establishing the run' is generally counter productive.  Teams that are successful should call plays with the highest probability of scoring, each time.

Play action is as successful on teams that do not run the ball well as it is on 'rushing' teams.

It will be interesting to see if Holm plays. If he is for it I would love to see him play a full season next year.

Holm is planning to play next year.

do you think the gfcc will drop the club requirement and just be an open to the public course...sounds like membership is waaay down

Membership is not down. I think there should be some more golf rounds sold, but I don’t think they will go away from club requirements.

will ray richards need a full time "golf pro"? if so how much does that pay and is that person a und employee...for comparison's how much does dan tannahill make at kings walk (should be public info)...how about doug iverson at the country club?

Mike Slominski is the pro at GFCC. Doug is the GM.

  5. Ive been able to have many conversations, with a lot of different folks from inside the University, inside the foundation and Mr Kennedy himself.  Ive been hesitant to change my opinion, since i really do think it is imperative to have someone in his role actually make decisions, but the man is such a egocentric individual, he has blinders up to common sense, and is not capable of being the CEO that showcases what makes UND, the community, and the people that contribute to it great.  He has no social tact what so ever, and Im sure there is more than 1 donor he has alienated.   Time to move on.

As for KEM, i think shes just as batshit, and probably wrong about the usage agreement, but i think she is a willing spokesperson for the people who dont have that voice and i hope that will help move things along.

Great things happen at UND everyday, for some reason the spotlight doesnt shine there enough.

Less is more. And I'm very happy to read that.

Think Freund and Chris Kuper (played in arguably the best zone blocking scheme with Denver Broncos) have been chatting?

    Can confirm.

With the guys coming in there are a few guys put on notice:

We lose:  Rhett, Jones, JJ, Shaw, Bob

    Maybe lose:  Poolman, Mismash.

    Goalies:  Scheel, Feeney, Thome

Top 6 D without Poolman:  JBD, Kiersted, Tychonik, Bast, Bast, Frisch.

Likely suits:  Peski, Reiger.  Although I see Peski dressing as extra skater.

Top 12 forwards without Mismash:  Bowen, Hain, Adams, Senden, Hoff, Smith, Gooch, Weatherby, Blaisdell, Pinto, Rizzo, Caufield.

Likely suits:  Johnson, Yon, Keane, Randklev, Gaber.

If Mismash returns do you have Caufield play a year in the USHL, or based on this year do you still bring in Caufield and someone gets their walking papers?

    I'll hang up and listen....

i cant see a situation we dress four freshies and keane sits.

  8. According to the new rules, If he were on the green, and the ball moved like that, he wouldve been able to replace w/o penalty.   There is no reason he should've been penalized for atrocious course set up.  No common sense.  Just tame the ball if you want to make the game harder for the pros, let amateurs use the juiced versions.

No there wasn’t. Never had an issue with frostbite personally either

Actually just one.  Was in october of 2001.  Early year snow storm dumped about 10 inches.  School Closed around noon.  I was a freshman-got loaded in Walsh 120.
