Owner of Hoist hockey in South Fargo, it is a hockey training facility with all kinds of toys.  Believe his kids play in the Angels Program.  Rumor has it he is taking over the H.A. Thompson rink in North Fargo, and the Bizen will play games there, as they currently play in Moorhead.

I'd imagine if he got a Tier 1 team they'd play out of that arena as well.

Yep he owns HA Thompson arena

Just looked around a little. Guess he already appeared in a regular season game:   CBS Sports shows him on the Canes roster but I don’t know if that means he can play in the playoffs.

He cannot play in any playoff games

Not the first time I've seen him play this season this kid is something. Vision and passing skills are top notch. He's a legit top 6 and top PP unit guy as soon as he steps foot in the Ralph.

I was at the game also and I couldn’t agree more. I forgot all about Simpson so wasn’t paying much attention to him

  4. To me there is nothing better than the Stanley Cup playoffs. Once again it’s wide open. The West is going to be a dog fight. The first round matchups are all pretty much toss ups. In the East I think 2 of the first round matchups will only go 4 or 5 games and that’s the Rangers over the Caps and the Canes over the Isles. Then again who knows. I’m going with the Rangers over the Stars in a 7 game thriller

ZPar represents to me the kind of player who, when you say "net presence," shows that doesn't have to mean big banger who will put up big penalty minutes.   His stick skills were his bread and butter, but a shytload of his goals came from just being around the net.  Stick skills, as I said, plus first-rate anticipation skills and toughness.   It helps, but you don't have to be big to be big around the net.

I bet I’m safe to say his average length of his goals was no more than 6/7 feet. His office was on top of the blue paint and boy did he take a beating

Sale of the Coyotes was approved by the NHL BoG. NHL would be better off getting rid of Meruelo since he is hated Arizona for just being a garbage owner. He hasn’t remotely tried to get an arena, even when ASU said you can build your entertainment district right here on the old golf course.
The Doan retirement banner also pissed off a bunch of people.

They stayed in Arizona longer than I thought they would

Yes.  They must have meant new incoming transfers this season.  Since this year was his 2nd year at DU...he was only at UMN for his FR season.
