    Instagram @Lhomme_mara

Thanks. I’m a bit too old for instagram. It appears he’s not very active there, from what I can tell. I’m not much of a twitter person either, but again, It appears he hasn’t posted there in over a year.

Somewhat odd he hasn’t mentioned UND on his instagram or Twitter, as he seems to post everything else.

What’s his twitter handle?  I haven’t been able to find one.  Just a bunch of his highlights from others posting.

So the non-conference looks like this (again, all per the D1 Docket)

    11/7 @ Iowa

    11/12 Elon

    11/16 VCSU

    11/20 @ Pacific

11/25: New Orleans at UCA Tournament

    11/26: EMU at UCA Tournament

    12/3 @ UC Riverside

    12/9 Portland

    12/12 Waldorf

    12/16 @ Utah Tech

    12/20 @ Nebraska

    1/3 Northern Colorado

    1/6 @ NAU

Only one that does have the date is CS-Fullerton, but if I had to guess, it would either be Dec 1st or Dec 5th

So possible return games for next year look to be UC-Riverside and Utah Tech next year.

Posted this once already. Doubt we add anymore DI games. Just need dates for a few of the non conference games and all conference games.  But at least we know who’s in the schedule

I saw a tweet from D1 Docket that said we picked up a road game against UC-Riverside. No date yet but id guess it’ll be the same time we go out to play CS Fullerton.

  5. The D1 docket websites has been updated.  Not sure if we are still looking for games or not.  A few if the games still need the date finalized. Non-conference D1 home games appear to be Portland, Elon and Northern Colorado.

I guess my original question was instead of doing these two current projects would it have been better for UND football and softball do ONE large project that brings UND football back on campus...a combo of UND, city, and big donors to make it happen.

you can take it one more step and say what if pollard would'nt have been built yet and it was also done at the same time...so instead of three different projects (4 if you could the soon to be addition to pollard) would it have looked better and been better for UND athletics to do something like my little not to scale drawing?

Unless I'm behind, I believe we've picked up a running back. Nothing out yet, so all I can gather is that his name is Jacquez and he's from Coffeyville Community CollegeScreenshot_20230614_162529_Instagram.thumb.jpg.5a8969923bc90b0c1e7608c105792b9d.jpg

    This guy?

We definitely need a guy that can grab some offensive rebounds.  Something we were lacking last year.  Does he have any other D1 offers?  Couldnt find it anywhere.

He has an offer from the Peacocks of St. Peter’s.

Edit:  that offer was from August of 2022 so not sure if it’s still valid.

    RE: What's next for realignment?

Welp, I don't think the paywall is going to get fixed this week, so I might as well make everything free for the next two days. I have a story I am contractually required to run tomorrow AM, and then I promise I'll share the low major realignment stuff

last clue, and I promise I wont string yall along like this ever again

    it involves a D-II team

    It sounds like D-II school.

The article was about the OVC and West Georgia as a candidate for possible expansion. Also mentioned the ASUN as a possible landing spot for WGa.

Briefly mentioned Missouri state due to a review their Athletics Department is doing m.  But sounds like that is more about making a stronger athletics department at MSU than it is about its conference affiliation.

    Like Bruns, Ihenacho and Ndoukou?

I am not as concerned about recruiting the talent as I am about retaining it. That's the piece that needs to be figured out.

Is Ndoukou playing DI somewhere else?  Do we know if he was "DI talent?"

Yes and no, depending on how you look at the breakdown. And inexperienced is probably more accurate than young, but I still think the latter applies.
41% of the minutes were played by players that were playing in high school last year (Omot, Brooks, Eaglestaff).
14% were played by players that are playing their first D1 season (Trent, Levias).
22% were played by players that are playing their second D1 season (Tsartsidze, Norman, Mathews).
That leaves 24% being played by guys that have more than one D1 season under their belt (Danielson, Sueker).

I mean, that is the more than the equivalent of two players who were sitting in a high school classroom last year playing a full game. That's definitely is not the norm.
That being said, I think its the right move and gives UND the best chance to win both now and in the future. But there is going to be growing pains. Let's hope we get to see this group grow together....

Care to break down the St.Thomas roster?
