Our team deserves better. The Hawk use to go up into the crowd take pictures interact with the fans. Even the band can't get the crowd into like it use to. Along with the horrible change in seating the Betty sure has not improved.
I'm sure the SDSU fans that made the trip up saw what a joke we are for basketball. SDSU has a true advantage for their players in Brookings.

St Thomas hockey would much rather be affiliated with UND and UMD than Bemidji and Mankato. Wouldn’t be surprised if they have already been in talks with the NCHC to be the 10th. New arena is on the way.
They also already play Denver and Omaha in basketball.

The problem with UST is right now they are non-scholarship football team playing in a DIII stadium.
