  1. Great win, actually the biggest win in the d1 era.   Congrats guys!!!!   Damnit I'm just ecstatic!!!!  The last 3 weeks they have been dominant.  44, 45, 45 points and winning the TO battle.  My only complaint is we have now been out scores 10 of 11 games this ur in the 2nd half! Let's host a playoff game next weekend!  Woo hoo!

  2. Don't we jump ahead of EWU if they lose, and ahead of the loser of the NAU/SUU game?

Should on both, but E Wash wears that name on their jerseys and whether they admit or not, that name sways votes.  UNI looking like they might be in as well.  Congrats to the citadel, but I think that win really hurt.    3 hrs to kickoff !!!

  3. Would be nice to see The Citadel lose, but they are beating South Carolina right now.

this^^   If the citadel win, they are in without a doubt.  Even if they lose they still have a chance, but we need them to lose for sure

  4. We lose Bowass Anderson and Meehan. We replace them with a combo of Cox Aplin (my personal favorite) Bell Miller Steiner Taylor and a really good looking group of redshirting fr. It's crazy because only a couple of years ago we had a line with zero depth and maybe 3 legit D1 OL. Mussmans last class had great hogs. Bubba's first class also added great hogs. Bubba's second class might have even better hogs as is evident with Grady already. This is how you build a winner. We now have good depth. In two years we will have GREAT depth. It's a good thing they remodeled Wilke because we've got some big ol boys on the line now.

My favorite nonstarter for 2 yrs has been demon.  I attended a few practices when he was a true fresh and was really impressed.

What has me giddy is the fact that santiago will only get bigger, stronger, faster, more experienced and a o line that will push most any team.   Hes already proven to us as a true fresh  that he doesn't need any type hole to be gone.  Barring injury he should be Unds first 2000 yrd rusher.  Add in brady and wow!!!

  5. The reason why Norberg looked a lot better is because the o line has dominated the last 2 games.  Iwarri looked good too.  As geaux mentioned, Grady is the biggest upgrade to the team.  If you noticed, most of the big runs are on the right side.....Grady's side!  Nfl teams will begin watching him next yr

  6. That's absolutely crazy about brady, considering what it looked like. Hope for his sake it's true.

With a 8:00pm kickoff, Und will have a better understanding of their playoff  chances.  Obviously they're going for a victory regardless, but every other team in contention, their game will be over.  Basically Unds game is the last playoff potential game.  I have a very good feeling about this game.

  7. I believe I saw a stat on Cal Poly WR Tucker has 12 receptions 6 for TD's.  This tells me defenses fall asleep stopping the run and Tucker slips behind the secondary.  We need to keep a sharp on him.

That's part of the triple option game plan.   Run, run, run and run some more then sneak attack.  Bubba knows this, he'll have them assignment sharp this weekend

  8. I see Reyes as an equally important. QB of the secondary. When he came back the defense played better. His first game back against Montana was getting his legs back.

Both are very important and needed, as are plenty others. Reyes in my opinion is a more gifted athlete when you consider his size, speed and instincts for his position.  Could be on some all American lists by his sen yr,  special talent!  The safety position is the last of line in the d, and it was very obvious when he was out, great to him have back.

But I feel Keaton is more important as I feel the qb is the one position that you need the absolute right person, doesn't matter if he's sll American or not.  There is just something about him that the team thrives off, whether it's his leadership skills , huddle presence or a combination of things but he just simply gets it done!  He's 6-1 this season and 2-2 last yr as a true fresh.  8-3 is not bad as a true soph!   Und the last 2 yrs without him are 3-8.  He has above ave speed and athletic ability but is below ave in size 6'0" 190 for his position.  Not sold on his arm strength, accuracy or decision making (yet) but the coaches will keep working with him to improve that and in time the accuracy and decision making should get better.  Although he looked pretty good last week.   He never panics and when it counts he simply makes the right call or play or both!  Again, I can't stress enough on how the team particularly the offense just feeds of him.

With the play of defense last week, I think they missed Drew Greeley more most have figured.  A lot of that could have been to due to the bye week and some other factors but from view he was missed.  Again, glad to have him back!

  9. You guys have gotten no respect all season.  Hope you tromp Poly and make the playoffs (along with the Griz) .

Thank you.  Griz are in without a doubt if they win.  Cal poly will be a tough out, especially at home.  Just hoping for no more injuries

  10. Student here:

This may sound dumb to you fellas but one reason there is a lack of support for the UND Football team is because many students do not like the players. They walk around campus as if they're better than everyone else. At the dining centers, they don't clean up after themselves. Is it that hard to go put your plate away? They're all over social media posting pictures of themselves shirtless and flexing. Many of us don't want to support people like that. Have you guys ever stopped to think that many UND students don't even really like football? Neither myself or my friends are football fans. Why spend 5 hours out of our day to attend an event we don't even care about?

So you and your friends have met all 95-100 players??  Crazy!   They're all the same huh!?  Your right not everyone likes football just like everyone doesn't like hockey.

  11. Don't forget that losing to ISU hurts a lot too.  Yes they look at SOS but also who you lost to.  That loss was a very bad one for a team that will be hanging on the bubble.  I would like to see UND make it in and hopefully some of those other games play out in your favor.

That doesn't have anything to do with SOS.

  12. We few have been trying. I don't think it helps putting 'hockey only' students in the seats. However, the atmosphere was okay until we dropped to isu and weber. Which by the way, we need to start beating them year in and year out. 2 years in a row to a program like that isn't impressive.

That's my complaint.  Und can literally have one bad game and students abandon them!????  Really? They became so disinterested that they'll wait for some wins and then return?  The team needs the students!

After reading some of the comments about the big guy razzing  unc , I watched the game again and kudos to the front row students that were there!  Not many of them but they were fantastic and were there until he end.  Wish they could recruit or clone about another 4000 of them!!
