Crazy thought but wouldn't it be nice if Ed decided to help out as a goaltender coach. One spot that we have lacked a little in the recuiting department has been with the goalies. Nothing against Phil and Jordan in recent times, they are/were solid goaltenders at the D1 level, but we have lacked to land a top notch tender for some time. With Ed as a goalie coach, we would be able to highly sought after recruits!
Not gonna happen, but a nice thought nonetheless.

I have to think there would be another banner or two hanging in the Ralph if the Sioux had had the benefit of someone like Howie at Wisconsin working with goalies over the last 15-20 years. But that's a one-of-a-kind situation.

AG is young and was thrown into the fire so to speak last year and then had the injury to contend with.
I think #31 Anthony Greico is going to be the real deal and a big part of the teams success this season

I agree. He won't compete for #1 if Phil is healthy and playing well, but with Walski playing well in practice, his game will improve and he'll have more confidence now that he's been around the game longer.
We saw flashes of brilliance last year but his inexperience and our scoring drought hurt.
He'll be a very good goaltender to take the weight off of Phil during the stretch run and he'll be even better while Eidsness is getting used to DI

Great player does not always equal great coach. Keep in mind that Ed is completely insane. Then again that is kind of a requirement for a goaltender
