And to add insult to injury, Minot now gets United Service to Denver.

United sees high dollar business seats being bought by Texas and Denver oil people: ExxonMobil, EOG Resources, Continental Oil, Hess, Whiting, Halliburton, Schlumberger.

Minot is becoming an oil town, and this is just the next step in the transformation.

Would suspect the next GFK route would be to MCO - Orlando by Allegiant, with the target being Winnipeg travelers.

Delta Air Lines to plan for expanded Grand Forks service

Delta Air Lines officials have agreed to develop a plan for expanded service for Grand Forks, according to a release from Gov. John Hoeven's office.

No actual plans have been released. Basically they have just agreed to expand service but nothing has been finalized yet. Hopefully we hear something sooner rather than later. Even 1 daily roundtrip with SLC would be huge for GFK. If that pans out fairly well they can look at 2 dailies later on.
