administrator Posted April 5, 2005 Share Posted April 5, 2005 There have been about 1.5 hours (cumulative) of site down time yesterday and today. The tech guys assure me that it was the result of a configuration error (mistyped IP address causing intermittent crashes) that has been fixed, as opposed to a portend of hardware failure. The crash corrupted the forum members database, which brought down the database server when it hit the corrupt part. I ran a repair and restarted the database server and I'll try to keep a close eye on things.
