With Tavares signing with the Leafs they are now favorites to win the Cup at 6-1 odds.

If they cant win a cup in the next 7 years this signing will be a failure.

St. Louis traded Thompson, Sobotka, Bergland, and a 1st in 2019 and a 2nd in 2021 for Ryan O'Reilly and St. Loius pays O'Reilly's signing bonuses.

That is way to high for O'Rielly

A full forward line*, a first, and a second, .... for O'Reilly.

Somebody got buffalo'd by Buffalo.

*OK, not really ... three centers

Seriously, what is St. Louis trying to do, clear cap space?  Even then, why do you add any draft picks?

anyone got a full interview from Torts on his puff with Jack Johnson, I don't have or plan to subscribe...

missively overreact and say the f word 30 times in each of the past present and future tense.

That was the interview.

Also included a innuendo that he will be Reggie Dunlop style targeted next season when Columbus played Pittsburgh.

lol, put that stick in their side, let 'em know your there.   I like Torts but from what I gathered this is all about misunderstanding. JJ wants a cup like all players, he referenced Pitt having success, should have spoken better, but it keeps things interesting.   Wonder if JJ ever reconciled with mommy and daddy?

Even if it was a misunderstanding. JJ's not wrong. Columbus is far from a winning culture.

I believe holidays are still quite dysfunctional for the young man.

I'm thinking Vegas might tank next season.

Didn't really try for Tavares and sound like Karlsson is going to Tampa Bay. They should have kept Neal but see kind of see why they didn't.

Montreal trying to out do Ottawa on who is a bigger dumpster fire and has the worst GM. Montreal wanting to trade Pacioretty, who Montreal said they will not sign an extension with him.

Hossa's contract, Hinostrosa, and Oesterle traded to the Coyotes for Kruger and a 2019 5th round pick.

Blackhawks are in talks for Pacioretty and Skinner.
