I just want UND to win the NCHC so I don't have to root for Providence or Northeastern or Cornell or Clarkson....Buuuuuut what are the odds.  Going to be an interesting rest of March, I would imagine.

Based on game times, if we are playing Saturday night (knock on wood), we will have an idea of whether we "NEED" to win, or whether its nice to have.   Not that it affects game play, but us fans might be less hyper.

I still recall being stared at during the 2000 WCHA Final Five, when they announced Michigan lost, and I was jumping and hollering.

Or the crowd chanting Lets Go Sioux during the DU vs Miami game when the crowd realized that Wisconsin won and got us in

Anyone else feel that old sense of excitement with the conference tournament being back at the X with St Pattys day again? I never got excited for the tournament at the Target Center.

I went to the Target Center once for a game, and it was pretty dull. Hoping for much more excitement this weekend, especially with St Patty's Day. I'm probably only going to go on Saturday, hopefully for the later game!

That was the one time I enjoyed being at Target Center.  There were some fans in a suite behind us taunting us when Wisco was losing, so when they came back I kept standing up, turning around, and yelling the score to them.  They got kinda quiet as the game wore on...

*for the record, the attendance was very sparse for that championship game.  A lot of UND fans had headed home, or were just out trying to forget the weekend, and no one else's fans showed up much to begin with.  My yelling at that suite wasn't nearly as obnoxious as it could be construed to have been ;)

My cousin got married that night so I wasn’t at that game, but heard about everyone keeping more tabs on the Badger game than the championship game going on.

My cousin, the Badger alum, assured me the Badgers would come through that night. I probably owe him a beer.

I'll be in Vegas tomorrow at game time. Any suggestions on where to watch??

There is usually a watch party at Torrey Pines Pub (6374 W Lake Mead Blvd) but I'm not sure if they are doing it tomorrow or not. While I agree on which choice of sportsbooks, I'm not sure it would be the best option to watch tomorrow given that its open weekend of the NCAA basketball tournament and they are all typically bonkers.

If you're looking for good juju I watched the UND v Northeastern game at the Tilted Kilt next to The Linq. I think the waitresses were really confused about why we were yelling at a hockey game on TV at 9 AM Vegas time :D

Without a doubt. Win or lose it’s going to be a great weekend. Obviously it will be an epic weekend if they go 2-0. :)

But according to Brad Schlossman, you are "living in the past". (sarcasm) :silly:

For the record, I agree with you 1000%

There are a lot of good seats left for the game.  I was at the box office at 5 and bought a block six for both games 11 rows up between the blue line and the center line.  He tried to sell me row one, but I will leave those for someone who wants to pound on the glass (they allow that at the X).

I understand the NCHC trying to make money with their tiered lower bowl pricing structure, but five different tiers is a little ridiculous.

Pretty much all the cheap seats on the ends are sold out (no two seats together remain)...lots of $72 plus fees seats in the middle left for Friday.

Only a few left in the $47 plus fees seats remain for Friday either.

and everything is lining up perfectly: St.Patty on Saturday and three out of the four teams are within relatively easy driving to St. Paul.

If there was more $30 plus fees seats available would more people go?

The 3 Denver fans who make the trip already have their tickets in-hand...it's up to UMD, SCSU, and UND now.
