I concur.

And how's this for a stat.  Of all the Blackhawks that were picked for rosters in this game:

Patrick Kane - 1G, 1A - 2PTS
Panarin - 0G, 1A - 1PT
N. Schmaltz - 0G, 0A - 0PTS
Toews - 1G, 1A - 2PTS
Campbell - 0G, 0A - 0PTS
Keith - 0G, 1A - 1PT
Seabrook - 0G, 0A - 0PTS

Pekka Rinne - 0G, 2A - 2PTS (2 assists in Game 2)

Mentioning Pekka, I believe next year we'll be going with a 9-6-1 roster.

9F, 6D, and a goalie.
Skaters will be straight points (like this year).
Goalies are 1 pt for a win plus 1 bonus pt for a shutout (plus any actual points scored).

If that system was this year, Pekka would be ... (wait for it) ... YUUUUUUGGEEE ... to have on your roster.
4 wins, 2 SO, 2 assists for 8 points. That's ahead of Crosby right now; tied with Kessel.

Unless I'm off, I think I should have 28.  I had 25 on 4/20 and got one point each from Crosby, Toews, and Kane last night.

Of your team, Campbell, Crosby, Kane, Toews and Keith played last night. If you agree on Apr 20, check those guys. (Don't check Campbell. He's a zee-row.)

Kane 2
Getzlaf 5
Toews 2
Crosby 7

Keith 1
Campbell 0
Carlson 1
Shattenkirk 2
  29

Oh ok, on the spreadsheet I'm keeping, I missed a Crosby point somewhere along the way.  Thanks!

The rules:

- pick six (6) forwards
- pick four (4) defensemen
- straight POINTS, not goals, POINTS (G + A) scored by your ten players in the four rounds to the Cup determines winner
- no more than five (5) players from a single NHL team on your team

Teams must be in before first playoff puck drop Wednesday night.

Looks like fun, unfortunately I didn't get here to see this in time to participate. Is there a list of winners from previous seasons for this contest like there is for the NCAA bracket challenge?

I agree, although I have siouxforcefans at 16* (I have all of his points...it would be 15 without the Parise point that he's being penalized).  Also, here is a summary of remaining players after Round 1:

Engineer - 4F, 2D remaining
KoolGuy2K - 5F, 1D remaining
sioux rube - 5F, 0D remaining
T
he Sicatoka - 4F, 2D remaining
stoneySIOUX - 4F, 1D remaining
George M. Bluth - 4F, 2D remaining
Shawn-O - 4F, 3D remaining
90siouxfan - 3F, 1D remaining
Ray77 - 4F, 3D remaining
siouxforcefans - 2F, 2D remaining

I had Chorney with 1 assist.  I went to NHL.com and looked him up, and he has 1 assist for his career in the playoffs.  I was looking at that as this year's playoffs.  My bad - you are correct.

And you forgot ... tied for fewest remaining players entering second round. ;)

AND, neither of my D are sniffing the ice unless there's an injury...

So then there's that

Good news, @Ray77 Fowler's back tonight!

Great.  I was wondering about that.  Apparently I didn't look at injuries before the playoffs started, I just went through and picked point scorers from the teams I thought would go far.  Once the playoffs started, I began to wonder where Fowler was!
