In my lifetime:

The Baltimore Colts moved to Indianapolis

The Oakland Raiders moved to LA and moved back again

The St Louis Cardinals moved to Arizona

The LA Rams moved to St Louis and moved back again

The Houston Oilers moved to Tennessee

The Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore

The San Diego Chargers moved to LA

The Oakland Raiders moved to Las Vegas

Good heavens I'm old.

My Raiders are meant to be in Oakland. Give Vegas an expansion team.

The moral of the story is:  Don't get too attached to your team because they will leave and break your heart.

The moral should be for Raiders fans (I'm not one), the Davis family will screw over their fan base at any cost.

The sad thing would be if the Raiders moved back to Oakland in 10 years.

Didn't even bother turning on the NFL knee-a-thon today.

Villanueva might be my new favorite NFL player.

..........I did turn on to watch the 4th quarter/OT of the Packer game though.

Wait, now we're AGAINST individual expression during the national anthem!  How dare that guy not do the "unity" thing and stay in the locker room with the rest of the team!

This is an absolute joke.........lost lots of respect for Tomlin.

Chargers first year of existence (1960) was as the LA Chargers. They've finally gone home to mend all those broken hearts in LA.

{Irony}

Spanos is kidding himself if he thinks he has more than a half-dozen fans who even remember the Los Angeles Chargers!

The team was right behind him in the tunnel.

Not that opinions of celebrities should carry any more weight than the common man with common sense, but I think Mike Rowe makes a lot of good points.  If the multiple strikes didn't change the clamoring for the NFL by the fans, I don't think much will.  But I would hope that they would be hurt to some degree in the ratings and attendance just to put some thought in the back of their heads.  Would love to see a big backlash, but I think the NFL knows that isn't going to happen, that's why they choose to be so bold.

I just hope the media (along with a certain someone in Washington DC), will look away from this and people can just enjoy a football game. You wanna stand then stand, you wanna kneel then kneel. I will always stand because its my choice. Makes me wonder what will be talked about at the Super Bowl. Here's a hint it won't be the halftime show, the commercials, or the teams playing the game.
