When Belmore played at DE he was unstoppable against the run. He was also basically the worlds strongest man.

It's been awhile and nobody is real fresh in anyone's mind.  We need dominant players on each level of the defense.  Having 10 game ready D-lineman without a dominant player really doesn't get us very far.  I think Tank dominated the Cal Poly game at home last year.  But haven't seen that level since.  Don't take comfort in sheer numbers, need some special guys if we are going to be a perennial top 10.

Mark Callahan whom Morrison has been compared to by old timers.

That's who I had in mind,  Big C.  315 to 330 lbs with feet, couldn't block him.

Can Bennet and Tank dominate next year, or will someone emerge like Morrison or Ott,  or Quentin?

Found this as I was trying to recall when Callahan played. Haven't looked for the updates as this was published in 2010.

Any QBs on the radar? Would hate to have another class without a QB.

Agreed. Next season we will have 2 juniors and one freshman at qb (assuming Heidlebaugh switches positions). Need to always be planning for the future.
