That being said, the U.S. outplayed Canada most of the game and especially in the O.T. They deserved to win this game. I hope the Lamoureux bashing ends here now. Shootouts, while inherently disgusting, are probably an efficient way to decide who gets the extra point in the regular season. However, in a gold medal game, it's a frickin' joke to decide it this way. Basketball doesn't have everyone line up and shoot free throws to determine the winner.
