2014-2015 Recruiting

With so many offers now out I guess its first to commit gets the scholarship and the rest are out of luck. Hopefully we don't have all from the same position step forward to sign.

All offers are conditional based upon the situation at the time when the player wants to make a commitment. After a commitment is accepted, and if there is no further need at the position, the other offers are normally withdrawn.

Another offer:

PF Dean Wade, 6'8”, 215, Saint John (Saint John), KS (3 Star - Rivals) Has offers from Boise St, Evansville, KSU, OR St, USD, UTEP & Wichita St

Probably not going to happen for us, Wade has picked up offers from IA, WA St and TCU in the last few days!

The vast majority of our 19 offerees have picked up a bunch of offers over the last 10 days. They all have at least one offer with most having 5+. Six of the kids have 10 or more offers.

This tells me that we are obviously recruiting some very talented prospects but the many offers will make our landing a couple of these kids very difficult. We should be elated if we do get any of them.

Wiki has been updated.

UND may have offered a couple De players?

@MuhneyySquash & @Sacar_Anim15 should just commit tomorrow too.... #UND is the way to go haha.

Anim is a real good slasher type and I know the Gophers and Wisconsin have both watched him a number of times but he is probably more of a down the road backup plan type for them and the Gophers are already full unless they have a transfer during the season. Anim has offers from Dayton and Northern Iowa already as well.

Looks like Kyle McKinley from Stillwater, MN committed to the University of Albany. Really thought we had a good shot at him. Too bad.

I had also thought we had a good shot at McKinley - he took an early visit to GF.....

Also - Trevor Stumpe, the 6'5” SG from Plainfield, IL has verballed to Wofford.

Josh goes a lengthy  6'4"  physically strong ,plays defensive end for football team.  Pretty athletic and a very high level defensive player.  Under the radar kid who may not pick up additional D1 offers and is someone UND will probably get.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CC8QtwIwAg&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DlngeSzt-kxM&ei=FfYWVOjRPMi3yATKloCQDQ&usg=AFQjCNE69E3b-xXE1ZHRikLjNa6YvHU_pQ&sig2=IpbcNrFHUmSG5W0FukKQcQ

Thanks for the info - what are your thoughts about Amin?  Do we have a shot at landing him?

Good player, great on defense, High major slash and finish.  Quite athletic, a bit quicker ,a little better bounce and better handle than Josh. Josh has better form and likely to have better 3pt shot in college.  Sacar does not have the 3pt shot that he would need to set up his slash game at the high major level. His form is poor and that has coaches concerned about his potential to score from the perimeter. Sac wants to play high major so he might wait til spring in hopes a of big offer.  Not sure Josh and Sac would not play same spot at next level.  UND long shot for Sacar no word that they offered him.  Josh did win a Slam Dunk contest this summer beating all top prospects in MN. including Sacar, Jarvis Johnson, and Marshawn wilson.
