Bruno surprised me this year. Went from playing a lot to watching the entire season.

Next years team has a lot of potential for offensive emergence. ie there is a group of players that have great potential to become top line forwards. Nelson, Grimaldi, and Miller are all potential breakout guys.
I would think a situation like that would be a good set-up for a guy like Cichy to find a high end niche on a line with two of these guys and really start to shine.
I think Nelson will move his game up, and I'm thinking Cichy and Rodwell are the two players who have demonstrated a potential to change their role to become an active part of a scoring line on next years team..
Don't give up Michael.
The light at the end of the tunnel may soon be getting bigger and brighter!
You could be going to Disney World!

I just don't get Cichy leaving...am I the only one who thinks he would be a cog in the offense next year?
Sit out a year to play in Western Michigan?
Why?

The coaching staff does love leadership, but they have no problems playing freshman over juniors.

I know what you're saying but the numbers don't add up, here's our forwards:
1) Gregoire (maybe)
2) Kristo
3) Knight
4) Grimaldi
5) Miller
6) Rowney
7) Lammy
8) Nelson
9) Dickin
That still leaves 3 spots if everybody is healthy and if Gregs is here and who else is coming that is better than Cichy? I can't see where he wouldn't be a lock on the 4th line at worst. Just seems strange to me. Bruno, yeah he might still fight for ice time but with injuries and such I bet he would play 25 games too.
Just doesn't seem to add up but who knows?

Oops missed Rodwell, I thought there was 10 but couldn't come up with it.
The only others I think are coming are Parks, MacMillan, St. Clair, and O' Donnell, that would be 14...not enough.
Who else is out there that is ready or close enough?

Looks like they have been talking about closing that loophole for awhile now.....I recall it also being a factor when Brady left UND.

That was such a bummer when he left, I liked him. His injuries really held him back but there were moments when he really sparkled as a player.
