It's early, but it looks like this program might win some games this season and get a reputation as a place where kids want to come. It is early, but they dominated Maine 5 on 5. The speed, passing and battling for the puck in the corners was impressive. They played smart hockey. They need a little work on the penalty kill as Maine had a bit of success on the power play. dakotadan Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 Game Notes: North Dakota opens WCHA action against St. Cloud State THE ALL-TIME SERIES: The Fighting Sioux trail the Huskies all-time series, 4-16-4. Last season the Sioux went 0-1-1 against SCSU and have gone 0-7-3 in their last ten meetings. The Sioux are 3-7-2 against the Huskies at home in the confines of the "Ralph". Hopefully the Sioux can begin to better their all-time series against alot of the WCHA teams this year. Getting a few points from SCSU would be a good way to start the WCHA season. I look forward to watching them next Friday!! they were falling into us! and they kept doing things that were called cross-checking or etc....when UND did them.
