Anybody else watch in frustration how the Macmillan line kept the puck behind the net for the whole shift not doing anything?

The Sioux got destroyed against Maine a couple of seasons ago and look how that season turned out. This game is no big deal, just a big learning experience for this young team. They have two weeks to fine tune a lot of things. No worries.

I like it all except i would put in Panzarella in for Mattson.

What did you guys think of Nick Mattson's play? How does he compare to all the other d-men? Scratch against Miami?

The nickname should be the Fighting Norse. It is the closest thing to Fighting Sioux. We wouldn't even have to create a new logo; we can continue using the interlocking ND.

DO you have to have DISH OR DIRECTV to pick up CBSSN? Does Midco cable have it?

Fighting Norse would be a sweet new nickname, as long as people with Scandanavian ancestry and the NCAA don't find the name hostile and abusive.....

I don't live in North Dakota so I am quite out of touch with the nickname ordeal. Is there any chance that the nickname will ever return?

Who is the best defenseman out of the group: LaDue, Thompson, Ausmus, or Stecher?

Hey Big, just an idea for the new concept page. I say we use the 2011-2012 jerseys except take the sioux head off and the Sioux print off and put in green cursive NORTH DAKOTA like the 19050's jerseys like you were thinking earlier. Then have the font be white on the green and black jersey. Keep the same interlocking ND except put UND in instead of sioux. Anyway, Just a thought! let me know what you think!
