  1. Does anyone know if the game is on FSN in the twin cities?
  2. Anyone have that picture of the gopher getting flushed down the toilet? Always loved that one.
  3. There is nothing i hate more than in game interviews. seriously
  4. I saw that to but it the guide is saying off air for both the UND and Minn games for FSN HD. That channel is bogus anyway. You only see half the games they say are scheduled and the games that are on always go in and out.
  5. I have a Goldy story for everyone. Before the 2006 regional in Grand Forks, Goldy was really irritating this older Michigan fan and his wife. This guy was going seriously nuts on Goldy after Goldy would not move from obstructing his view. The ushers finally had to escort Goldy away from this guy. Even though the guy from Michigan was like 70, he had enough steam coming out of his head where I think he would have seriously inflicted damage. Although this guy was not fortunate enough to assault Goldy, I am sure he got some satisfaction in seeing Minnesota be sent home by Holy Cross.
  6. To add to this, Miami was also facing a red hot Michigan team. Anyone who played Michigan on these given nights would not have stood much of a chance, actually I believe nobody would have. Chad Kolarik was simply dominating and Michigan was firing on all cylinders, it was impressive. I understand that Miami has had an easy schedule but they do have talent on their team. Ryan Jones has 29 goals, not easy to do against any schedule. To dismiss them simply because of their schedule (Goon) is unreasonable. I'm all about being a proponent of the WCHA , but it is not an end all, be all conference. There are other talented teams out there. I do believe UND would beat them 8 out of 10 times, but in the NCAA , anything can happen and to cheer for them to be an opponent I think is dangerous.
  7. I think it is safe to say that Gordon is a marked man with the dogs. They are hitting him every chance they get.
  8. Chay going down is no doubt going to hurt. He has been our best and most consistent defenseman. But instead of asking Marto and Lapoint to step up, we ask Chorney. Chorney is more than capable of bringing that type of game to the table. For the most part, we have not seen it this year which is remarkable considering he was a pre-season All American and Hobey candidate coming into the season. I have no doubt that this team will be able to step up to fill the voids left by Trupp and Genoway.
  9. Lang for Parise? I would hope nobody is that dumb. Lang was washed up when he was in Detroit.
  10. Traded for future considerations, ouch, that has to hurt!
  11. This team is experienced enough where they don't need to lose to gain focus.
  12. I just love the fact that Michigan and BC are in the same bracket.
  13. Turris looked really good when he played with Canada for the World Jrs. this year on their top line. There is no doubt he is a high end talent. I agree that Wisconsin is not the best fit for him.
  14. The students live in Grand Forks for at least 9 months out of the year and are affected by the decisions these lawmakers make. I don't see a reason why they shouldn't be able to vote.
  15. Couldn't be more true.. Fans were jumping off the ship left and right this year. One week, I scored tickets ten rows up for $20 and two weeks later after the vikes strung together 4 straight wins, you couldn't get tickets for less than 150.
