If it does make you feel better. SMSU is one of the better teams in the NSIC. Ranked #1 this week in the region and tied for first in the NSIC. I talked to Greg at Booster Club today and asked. Said he was maybe at 10 practices at UND when his wife was coach at UND. Might have watched a few "other" games to help scout. anyways...

Greg Stemen was never an assistant under Glas. I heard he showed up a few times at practice. But never was on his staff.

what's wrong with this schedule. Why is this different than years past? I would say most don't think UND is "their" peer. UND baskeball is horrible

who cares that he coached D1. I mean really? What does that mean? Is he a better coach? Is Tim Miles a better coach at NDSU now that he's D1? No, the same as he was as a D2 coach.

One thing I noticed on Jones. It says in his bio on the Web site that he coach at UNO from 1996 to 1998 and "recruited several players that won back to back NCC titles". UNO won those titles in 2004 and 2005. I doubt he recruited any of those players. Maybe I'm missing something. I would've gone with Brown, but UND will go D1, so maybe this is the right fit

I've heard Randall Herbst took a job at Florida Southern earlier last week. Anyone know anything about this? I haven't seen it released. I think it was an assistant job. I"m sure we'll know more next week if he doesn't get the UND job

That isn't true about the assistants. Saul Phillips or Todd Koering would be the head coach at NDSU and the other would be assistant at NDSU.
